I've decided to record elements of my life that I spend most- if not nearly all- of my thoughts on. These are my Five Passions:

Family- because after all- they're the most important of all- but the kiddo's are nearly grown now and on their own, so this is where I'm going to document my favorite moments with Marla (the wife), Dillon, (the 1st), Dane (the 2nd) and Isabel (the baby!) and pics of my home.

My side Japanese Garden between houses

Dane- the gear head- he's awesome! Izzy in the back rowing away- she's awesome too!
Snarky Girl!
Marla's first protest- Against Trump!
She loves hiking! @Rainbow Lakes
Rainbow Lakes Posers
Because home is family- it's included
Front Yard Summer of '16
My first Carne Asada- best beef I've every prepared. Making me hungry since I'm fasting today!

Dane and the Dane Rover- rigged out!
Guitar/Music- because it's what I really want to do for a living- and I spend most of my waking moments thinking about this frustrating but ultimately rewarding art

Fitness- Because it's important and should be- and I need to be much more accountable in my fitness journey
And I want to look like this at 60!

Martial Arts- My original passion. Because I was weak and scared as a kid (mostly- I had moments of courage) and my pursuit of the martial arts changed all of that- and made me fundamentally who I am today.

Aiki
Spiritual- My greatest passion- because I have the hope that it really is the most important and will last the longest, creating a deeper connection with the other 4 passions and making me a better man and a better soul. Because my Creator knit me together with a longing to know more, to wonder at the infinite and to embrace it, the awesome mystery that this world and our universe holds. To be a witness to the mystery that this life is and is still to be.
